The Office of Family Life Ministry of the Archdiocese of Newark is pleased to announce the annual tradition of honoring couples within the Archdiocese who will be celebrating five, twenty-five and fifty years of valid marriage for the Catholic faithful in the year 2023. Our parish will be collecting fund via a distribution of baby bottles on all our Masses from Feb. 4, 2023 to Feb. 19, 2023. This campaign will benefit pregnant women in crisis who are being helped and supported by Life Choices. Please be as generous as you can. Please join the Filipino community of Divine Mercy Parish as we celebrate Simbang Gabi; nine consecutive nights of Masses to welcome the arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ on Christmas Day. Please support our parish raffle to help support parish efforts to install a brand new heating system for our church. Each raffle ticket is $5. The drawing will be on December 17, 2022 at 5:00PM in the church. The winner need not be present. There are no substitutions for the offered prize and no cash will be given in lieu of the prize. Everyone is cordially invited to support our upcoming parish fundraiser to support our parish needs in particular the enormous amount of funding required to install a working heating system for our church. One of our volunteer groups is holding a Breakfast Fundraiser on November 6, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 12:00PM at the Divine Mercy Auditorium. A $10 contribution at the gate entitles you to a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages, home fires, toast and coffee. All proceeds will benefit the maintenance needs of Divine Mercy Parish. Our Shepherding and Service Apostolate would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the people that supported and contributed to Raphael House project that collected baby items and supplies throughout the entire month of September. Your overwhelming support for this campaign will go a long way in helping out 12 young mothers who chose life for their babies. Let us continue to pray for the safety and well-being of these women.

The Theme was ‘Family love is a vocation and path to holiness'. We invite Families to gather and celebrate , with prayer, games, and ways to improve our family union as a "Domestic Church" . We are calling upon the generosity of our beloved parishioners here at Divine Mercy. Our heating system for our church is not working and is in dire need of replacement. The cost to replace is around $275,000. It is a major undertaking so we are appealing to you to please help our church with this expense. Starting this year, the Solemnity of the Lord's Ascension will be permanently celebrated on the 7th Sunday of Easter of our liturgical calendar. This new directive from the Roman Catholic bishops of New Jersey's various dioceses has decided to move it to this date to enable more participation from the faithful.
