I was born in the USA from a family of Peruvian origins and was
originally raised via a Pentecostal church. I began attending CCD
classes at Divine Mercy Parish in October 2021. I am very eager
to receive the Blessed Sacraments of Baptsm, Confirmaton and
Holy Communion after months of classroom preparation,
attending Mass (even leading my parents and siblings to attend
Mass as a family). I am excited to be an active member of the
Divine Mercy Parish community and continue living my faith as
a Catholic as I advance in my life and career. I chose the name
Jean after St. Jean Baptiste de la Salle

I grew up at a home where there was never any attention paid
to living a full Catholic life so I was never baptized or confirmed.
Who knew that on that fateful day in 2014, not only would I
find love with the man of my dreams but also come to know our
Lord Jesus Christ more profoundly when I attended Mass with
him and responded to an invitaon to join RCIA class from a
Divine Mercy bulletin? The initial apprehension was overcome
weeks later as I continued to grow in my newfound relationship
with our Lord Jesus Christ and learn more about my faith.
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about our Catholic faith or wants to take the next step in the unfolding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in their own lives, please reach out to Divine Mercy Parish through our RCIA coordinators. Please check our RCIA page.
