Please be aware of the following guidelines for attending Masses at our parish
Due to the current surge of coronavirus cases in NJ and the almost all of the United States, we are asking everyone to refrain from congregating inside the church after Mass. Bring your social conversations outside the church and provide space and respect for individual sacred prayer for those who wish to remain in silence inside the church.
The maximum number of participants inside the church is a maximum of 70 people for all Masses (weekend and weekdays). Once the maximum allowable number of people within the church has been reached, the church will be closed for entry.
The occupancy limit also applies to the number of people allowed inside the church for funerals, weddings and baptisms.
All participants should maintain social distancing (six feet part) inside the church at all times. If you all belong to the same household, you may sit next to each other while keeping the six feet distance to adjacent parishioners.
All people should wear face mask at all times inside the church and when visting the rectory. You will not be allowed inside the church or the rectory without a face mask.
There will be no shaking of hands or any physical contact with other people within the church.
Communion by the hand is the preferred method of receiving the Eucharist to prevent the virus spread. We will appreciate if you will abide by this rule. If you still insist on Communion by mouth, please stay at the back of the line and wait until all communicants receiving by hand are done. The Precious Blood will not be distributed at this time.
The only Masses that will be livestreamed on our Facebook page are the 11:00am Sunday Mass and the 12:30pm Spanish Mass for the benefit of those still unable to come to church.
Dispensation from Sunday Mass obligation is still in force for those that are unable to come to church.
Baptisms at this time will be held on Saturdays only (12:00pm, 1:00pm or 2:00pm). Weddings during this time will be held only on Friday 2:00pm or 4:00pm, Saturdays at 1:00pm, Sundays at 5pm (except on the 3rd Sunday of each month). Baptism classes will start on July 8, 2020 and every second Wednesday thereafter. Please check our Baptism page for details.
