Yes you are right! That is the same cross that has been enhanced to resemble classic Christian iconography. The extensions of each crucifix now has an icon image of one of the four evangelists. The master artwork has been completed by our parish volunteer Vince Lopez who is also instrumental in breathing new life into the Stations of the Cross we have inside our church. It is our hope that this new cross on our altar will invite you to a deeper reflection on the Gospels as they are uniquely narrated by the four evangelists. In the Gospels we see the light of our Lord Jesus Christ shine brightly and we behold the image of the suffering Christ who offered His life as a ransom for many.
